needest not that any man should ask Thee. By this we believe that
Thou earnest forth from God."

Jesus answered them: "Do you now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, and it is now come, that you
shall be scattered every man to his own, and shall leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because
the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the
world you shall have distress. But have confidence: I have overcome the world."

Jesus' Interior Prayer and Lamentation

I will give great thanks to the Lord, and in the midst of many I will praise Him, because He hath
stood at the right hand of the poor [man], to save My soul from persecutors.
They will curse and Thou wilt bless. Let them that rise up against Me be confounded, but Thy
Servant shall rejoice. Let them that detract Me be clothed with shame, and let them be covered with
confusion.
Help me, O Lord My God; save Me according to Thy mercy, and let them know that this is Thy hand,
and that Thou, O Lord, hast done it.
