Withhold not Thou, O Lord, Thy tender mercies from Me; Thy
mercy and Thy truth have always upheld Me. For evils without
number have surrounded Me; My iniquities 11 have overtaken Me. They are multiplied above the hairs
of My head, and My heart hath forsaken Me.

Let them blush and be ashamed, who rejoice at My evils. Let them be clothed with confusion and
shame, who speak great things against Me. Let them rejoice and be glad, who are well pleased with
My justice, and let them say always: "The Lord be magnified, Who delights in the peace of His
Servant." And My tongue shall meditate Thy justice and Thy praise all the day long.

Psalm 34:26-28; Psalm 39:7-13

ll My iniquities: that is, the sins of all mankind, which I have taken upon Myself.
