Jesus' Interior Prayer and Lamentation

Unjust witnesses rising up have asked Me things I knew not. They repaid Me evil for good, to the
depriving Me of My soul. But as for Me, when they were troublesome to Me, I humbled My soul. As
one mourning and sorrowful, so was I humbled. They rejoiced against Me, and came together, but I
have hoped in the Lord.

O Lord, all My desire is before Thee, and My groaning is not hidden from Thee. But My enemies live,
and are stronger than I, and they that hate Me wrongfully are multiplied. They that render evil for
good, have detracted Me, because I followed goodness. Forsake Me not, O Lord My God. Do not Thou
depart from Me. Attend unto My help, O Lord, the God of My salvation .

O My people, what have I done to thee, or wherein have I afflicted thee? Answer Me. I led thee out
of Egypt, having drowned Pharao in the Red Sea, and thou hast delivered Me to the chief priests. I
went before thee in a pillar of cloud, and thou hast led Me to the judgment hall of Pilate.
